Obituary of Helen Gladys Dyer

Helen Gladys Dyer died of natural causes at her home in Lacey surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 31, 1918 in Hastings Nebraska. She married Charles F. Dyer on February 10, 1940 in Hastings NE. Helen was a professional beautician in Spokane before her retirement. Mr. Dyer preceded her in death on September 17, 1997. Helen was an accomplished artist and enjoyed traveling, family and visiting with her many close friends.She is survived by her daughter Charlene K. (Dyer) Cassidy and son-in-law David R. Cassidy and three grandsons Joseph R. Cassidy (Julie), Woodstock GA, Ronald C. Cassidy (Sara), Lacey WA and Brian D Cassidy in Tenino WA. Helen has three great-granddaughters Gracie and Abigail Cassidy and Alexandra Cassidy, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests donations to Providence Hospice Association of Olympia or Christ The Servant Lutheran Church of Lacey in Mrs. Dyer’s memory.
