11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 The Masonic Center Terrence “Terry” L. Duncan February 9, 1938 – March 7, 2006 Terry was born at Vancouver, BC in 1938 and grew up in Seattle, Washington. He was a graduate of Lincoln High in 1956, attended Everett Community College, and the University of Washington. The University of Washington employed him as a Computer Operations Manager for 35 years, until his retirement in 1999. On April 4, 1983, he married Patricia Mannion, and in 1986 they moved to Mill Creek, Washington, where they enjoyed many years of meeting special friends, playing golf, and traveling. In 1999, after retirement, they moved to Olympia to enjoy traveling and spending time with grandson, Justin. His wife, Patricia Duncan, and daughter, Brenda Smith of Marysville, WA, survive him. Terry is also survived by his “favorite grandson,” Justin Norton. Terry has two half brothers in Canada, Arwin Annis (Judy) and Terry Annis (Doris) and a half sister, Lynne Bidiuk; two special aunts, Ethel Wynter and Betty Duncan, nieces, nephews, and many cousins survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Donald Duncan, and birth Mum, Winifred Graham. The family would like to thank Terry’s compassionate doctors, Dr. Fay, Dr. Lechner, Dr. Krug, and their nurses, who made life and the journey comfortable. We are also grateful to Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice, without their support and care we would not have been able to fulfill Terry’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Providence Hospice, P.O. Box 5008, Olympia, WA 98509, cancer research, or your favorite charity.
