Obituary of Glen A. Davis

Glen A. Davis Glen Arthur Davis, 53, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in an industrial accident near Tenino. Glen was born June 29, 1954 in Olympia to Albert and Lauretta (Huff) Davis. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1972. Glen lived in Alaska, Montana and Oregon before returning to Olympia in 2006. While living in Alaska, he married the former Jackie Bojarski. They later divorced but remained close friends. Glen’s employment included work with Portland Truck and Diesel, Trojan Portland General Electric, and working as a diesel mechanic for Fort Lewis and most recently with Soil Key. He loved old cars, fishing, skiing and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Engelhardt and Jessica Whipple both of Olympia; one brother, Robert Davis, Olympia; three sisters, Alberta Culp, Lacey, Linda Cortesi, Brinnon, Washington and Laurie Bassett of Shelton; also four grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Alan Davis and two brother-in-laws, Jerry Bassett and Robert Bojarski. A celebration of Glen’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 31, 2007 at the new Masonic Center, 455 North Street SE, Tumwater, WA 98501. Flowers may be sent to the same location the day of the service.
