Obituary of Mickey Westlund Damico

No visitation Mickey Westlund Damico, 62, a prior resident of Shelton, died from cardiac arrest on November 13, 2006. He was born July 24, 1944 in Salinas, Kansas to Michael L. and Evelyn V. (Watson) Damico. Mickey attended schools in Shelton and graduated from Mary M. Knight. He worked in shoring and construction all his working life. Mickey lived in Seattle for 30 years and Olympia for the last 8 months. He belonged to Olympia Senior Services. Mickey is survived by his previous spouses, Carol Webber, of Seattle and Jay Westlund, of Union; two sons, Michael and Steven Westlund, both of Tacoma; two daughters, Tiffany Westlund and Michelle Westlund, of Vancouver; one brother, Jerry (Jan) Westlund, of Olympia; two sisters, Karen Westlund Bjork, of Olympia and Cindi Laney Rogers, of Shelton; three grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his adoptive father, Lee Westlund. An informal gathering for lunch and reminiscing will be held Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Olympia Senior Center, 222 Columbia St NW, Room B, Olympia.
