Obituary of Linda kay Curd

NA Linda K. Curd Kay was born Linda Kay Ballengee on November 22, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was the second and last child of Luther and Pauline Ballengee. She grew up there, went to school and attended college in the area, and in 1966, went to work for American Airlines in their reservations department. She met the love of her life in the fall of '66 and married Marc in January of 1968. Two years later, God mercifully blessed them with a wonderful son. The three of them moved to Northeast Texas in 1972 and then to Tyler in 1977. Kay worked off and on during the years in Tyler, as a travel agent. During that time and even aftery they moved to Washington State, they enjoyed being able to do a good deal of traveling, including quite often, extended trips to the Feast of Tabernacles. In 1995 Marc and Kay moved to Western Washington, first to Federal Way and then to Port Orchard. Paul and his family moved here as well, in 1999. She loved this area and while there were people she missed in Texas, she never regretted the move. Kay's favorite thing was spending time with family and brethren who were like family to her. Her family and friends meant so much to her and she was very grateful to her God and her Savior, for blessing her with them. Kay is survived by her husband of 44 years, Marcus. Their son Paul and his wife Shana and grandchildren Natasha and Christofer of Bothell, WA. She is also survived by her brother Bob and his wife Mollie , in Weatherford, Texas.
