Obituary of Robert Eugene Cook

Robert Eugene Cook, Sr., 60, of Onalaska, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005. He was born January 26, 1945 to Elton Eugene and Alice Marie (Backman) Cook in Sacramento, California. In 1964 Robert graduated from Franklin Pierce public school in Tacoma. From 1964 to 1967 he served in the United States Navy. On October 1, 1980 he married the former Kathy L. Murray who survives. Robert retired from Trans Alta only a few months ago. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; three sons, Jason Cook, of Missouri, Steve Murray of Chehalis, Robert Cook, Jr., of Onalaska; one daughter, Shawn Koda, of Missouri; four brothers, Ray Cook, of Puyallup, Rick and Randy Gagnon, of Olympia,and Ron Gagnon, of Tacoma; sister, Candy Fleek, of California; his parents, Alice and Bill Gagnon, of Olympia; and six grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father in 1963 and a son, Colby in 1993. Bob was an avid hunter. He enjoyed fishing, and the outdoors. You could always find him working in his yard on his days off. Bob loved family gatherings. He was a wonderful grandfather who lived for his grandkids. He will be missed.
