Laurie Cogswell

Obituary of Laurie Eileen Cogswell

none Laurie Eileen Cogswell was born in Topeka, Kansas, on May 29, 1964, passed away in her home in Lacey, Washington on March 6, 2006, and is now peaceful and happy with our Lord. Laurie spent most of the first 29 years of her life in California. She graduated from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She was so talented and was employed in many different capacities throughout her life. She had many passions like her collections of M&M memorabilia, angels and frogs; her creations of jewelry, writing, sewing, crafts, piano & guitar, card making, reading, power walking, pie baking, traveling & post cards, Mt. Rainier, the beach, her faith in God, a sunny day, and most of all, her friends and family. She loved them all so much. She was so very smart, compassionate, kind and caring; and had a sharp wit, and was just funny, and not a lot of people got the chance to see this part of her & those who did were just blessed. Laurie could make you see the value of the little things in our lives we take for granted. She is going to be missed so very much. Laurie is survived by her parents, Karl Cogswell of Nevada and Jane Figgs-Luke; brother, Matthew Cogswell; sister, Jennifer Grifall, her niece Leah Grifall, all of California; and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeffrey Cogswell and David Cogswell.
