Obituary of Margaret Katherine Cholski

None Margaret Cholski, 89, died at home on November 10, 2005. She was born in Louisville, Colorado on July 12, 1916 to Robert J. and Mattie (Van Valkenburg) Stretz. She moved with her family to Olympia in 1930 and graduated from Olympia High School in 1934. She was married to Arthur H. (Bill) Cholski for 64 years, who passed away in 2001. For 35 years, she traveled with her husband and then with her children to Arizona for the winters. She was a homemaker with many talents. She cooked pleasurable food, raised gardens, cared for farm animals, created detailed ink drawings, and worked metal and stones into fabulous jewelry. She loved family, travel, and history. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Margaret is survived by her son, William Cholski (Caroline); her daughter, Ellen Cholski (William Daniels); four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also, others considered her to be their mom or grandma. There will be a private service. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Memorial Park.
