To Tom's Family:
Tom went to grade school at St. Matthew's in Akron with me. Other classmates that I've recently emailed with about Tom's passing are Danny Huth, Larry Schrader, Denise Fields Resser, Rita Schillinger Dawson. Danny found out about Tom's passing and emailed Rita, who in turn emailed me. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Marie Longstreth Langford

I have been remembering all the times growing up. Tom was the oldest of the grandchildren and he took us under his wing. He always made me feel special and beautiful and I loved him dearly.
I remember when at his house watching Elvis on TV, and telling Tom that Elvis was awful and Tom just laughed and told me I would come to love that music, ha ha. I remember his laughter that day and many times after that, as I listenend to Elvis, and remembered Tom's words. I recall the great times we all had at Crystal Lake when he and Tony were lifeguards, what fun we all had back then. If life could just stay so simple!
He always called my Mother, Aunt Jean, through her trying times and would always offer his help. She always appreciated his concern. Aunt Jean always spoke her mind to him and she was so happy the last time she talked with him when he told her he turned his life around.
I treasure the times we had in the last few years when he stayed with me in Akron. We bantered back and forth and it was fun. I am happy that my children and grandchildren were able to get to know him on his trips. They send their thoughts and prayers also.
He loved you all very much and was so VERY proud of all his children, you all were the topic of his conversation and the light of his life.
I pray that you all find peace in your hearts through this trying time.
All our love and prayers are with you.

I have many great memories swimming in the pool in your back yard in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Great memories playing football and just enjoying each other's friendship.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
May God Bless you all.
