Obituary of Barbara Buchanan

Barbara Jane Buchanan Barbara Buchanan passed away from abdominal cancer, on Saturday, June 2, 2012, in the arms of her fiancé with a warm smile. She was born on April 6, 1983 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dawn and Ron Hicks. Barbara graduated from high school in Oklahoma. She lived in Oklahoma and California, before settling in Olympia 12 years ago. Her family was very important to her, and she loved them with all her heart and soul. Barbara’s son, James, and her fiancé, Dave, were the most important people in her life. She was strong-willed, but also loving and understanding. She enjoyed caring for people and socializing. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her parents, her son James, and her fiancé Dave Bosak.
