Obituary of Gladys Ingaborg Brown

Gladys Ingaborg Brown was born to Bengt and Esther Magnuson on February 18, 1926 in Monroe Washington and died surrounded by her family on December 18, 2006. She lived in Monroe for 32 years, Everett for 7 years and in Lacey the past 41 years. She graduated from Monroe High School.
She worked at the Guardsman in Lacey for many years and was a loving homemaker and mom for most of her life.
She married Noah A. Brown Jr. in 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband Noah Brown and her son Gary Brown.
She is survived by her sons, Noel (Gina) of Lacey, Kris (Theresa) of Lacey and Craig (Judy) of Tumwater; her daughter in law Pam Brown; her brothers Stanley Magnuson of Stanwood, and Benjamin Magnuson of Lake Stevens; her sister Florence McIntyre of Snohomish; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She loved to go camping with her family, traveling with friends and family to Reno, Mexico and Lake Tahoe. She loved to ride her motor scooter with her friends and she enjoyed playing cards with her “Card Buddies”.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
A memorial service will be held Thursday December 28 at 11:00 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1601 North Street, Olympia, WA.
