Linda,
You have been there and stood by his side and I know you made him happy. I'm glad for the good times you had together, the new places you saw,the special moments. I know this has to be so hard for you. It meant so much to me at the end of dad's life how you played his favorite music, sat and held his hand while talking of all the good times, the memories, and crying so hard that it was time to say goodbye. You stay strong and I know my dad will always be in your heart.

I am so blessed to have been your daughter. It's the little things in life that matter, the barbeques, the times we sat in the lounge chairs and chatted even if it was about the weather. You took on all five of us when mom left but, you stayed for the long haul, It was later in life I truely understood just what a great deed that was and your true love! A man of few words and a man with a hugh heart. You are missed greatly and we all must let go as hard as that is. Rest in peace dad and say hello to Pat and the grandparents. You are in my heart always!

My love and prayers to everyone, Kathy, Sue, Renie and Linda and all of your families. Patrick always looked to his Dad for approval and I'm sure he was there to greet him. Bill was a sweet, generous man and he will be so very missed, but now is home again.

I am honored to have had Bill as a stepfather. He was the only real father we kids had. He took care of us even though he didn't have to. He yelled at boys who made fun of me and taught me how to drive a car. I am sure he wished he had one of those training cars with the passenger breaks (I took extremely wide corners). He helped me when my son was young by being a good male roll model, even if he tought him how to pee on the trees. He helped him hold his first fishing pole and became Poppy when he could speak his first words. He wasn't a man of many words but when he spoke, it was always something to listen to. He spoke of Mule rides in the mountains, hoping trains with his cousin and climbing fences in Germany. It sounded to me like he had a bunch of good times! The most special words I got to hear him say is when, at the end, after all these years he told me "I love you" and I knew he meant it. I am honored to have been there to help take care of him in his time of need as he was there for me! We love you Poppy! You will always be with us!
To My Mom,
I love you Mom! I thank you for bringing this man into our lives!

To the entire family:
Live each day with glee. Love each person with passion and adore life the way you adored Bill. A little piece of him is deep inside each of you. Carry him pridefully and with boldness. He is your comfort, your strength and now your angle. He resides in heaven where he can now watch over all that he loved.
Until you meet again
