Obituary of Letha Marie Bolender

LETHA BOLENDER Letha Bolender, 83, of Olympia, died March 10, 2009. Letha was born November 19, 1925 in Milledgeville, Illinois to David and Marie (Brown) Snider. She married Wilbur “Bill” Bolender on October 12, 1946 in Olympia. Letha and her husband were co-owners of Bolender Logging Company. Bill preceded her in death February 8, 2008. Her hobbies and interests included genealogy, boating in the San Juan and Gulf Islands and camping in the Anza Borrego Desert. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethern. Survivors include five children, Kathy Hemlock (Bruce), Wendy Bolender, Dan (Kris), Dave, and John (Nancy) Bolender; also eleven grandchildren, Matt Hemlock, Matt Bolender, Kelsey Froehlich (Allen Mack-Kretzler), April Kern (Alex), Tyler Bolender, Erin Bolender, Jesse Froehlich, Katie Forsman (Andrew), Shannon, Kerry, and Juli Bolender. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Lacey Community Church, 4501 19th Avenue, Lacey.
