Attach note: In memory of Pam Boesiger (Pam went to this hospital after a call to 911. She was treated in their Critical Care unit for three weeks until she passed away. Her doctor in the Critical Care Unit chairs a committee that researches early intervention of septic shock, which is almost always fatal.) 3. The Nature Conservancy. Make check payable to: The Nature Conservancy. Mail to: 1917 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101. Attach note: In honor of Pam Boesiger to Shotwell's Landing. (Nature Conservancy has a native seed harvesting site directly across the street from Pam and Dick’s home in Littlerock. The previous owner of that land was a group called the Rainbow Family, and the land called Rainbow Valley. This group staged music festivals, which exposed local youth to easy access of drugs and alcohol. Pam was singularly instrumental in testifying against the owner, who was then convicted of numerous felonies and subsequently lost title to his land. When Nature Conservancy acquired the same property, they considered naming the property Rainbow Valley. When Nature Conservancy contacted Pam and Dick about this naming, Pam suggested Rainbow Valley not be used and to use Shotwell's Landing, which was historically correct. In the early settlement of this land, there was a trading post called Shotwell's Landing where indigenous people traded with the settlers at a place directly across the street from the Boesiger family house.)
