As a Sigma Kappa sister of Judy's I have very fond memories of her talented voice and how she kept us in song on many occasions. It was a joy to see her at our reunion in July 2012 where again I heard her lovely voice, felt her inspiration and cherished being with her then. Her brother Bill said it best in his message below. May Judy's family feel the love and support from all that knew her.

I am so sorry to hear about Judy's passing. I worked with her for years, she always had so many things going on and she had so many loyal friends and customers. She left this world way too soon, she's decorating her new home about now.

Didn't get to see you much Judy, but it seems that every time we did we had a great laugh about some silly thing. You will be missed, especially by your dear sister and brother.

Judy was such an inspiration to me the first day I took my husband, also a pancreatic cancer patient, to the oncology clinic. I looked forward to visiting with her on each of his treatment days. I witnessed her amazing support team in action. She was so blessed to have each of you. May God wrap you all in His arms at this time.

Judy in Disguise, you are truly now Judy in the Sky with Diamonds, no matter that the lyrics are wrong and the artists are different. You will always be my Judy in the sky and your eyes do shine like diamonds. You will always be the big sister I never had. I will miss you forever.

From the minute we met at Sigma Kappa (Judy selected me as her "Little Sis") until the moment she passed from us, Judy and I were connected by music, singing, entertaining, weddings (2 of which were mine), the shared love of horses, fish, dogs, wild beasties and birds of all kinds (I inherited her fish and an old, tired squirrel house years ago when we helped her clear up her yard); travel, family, my two children (who we also shared), a history together that she remembered better than I did; and so much more...She's omnipresent in my life and heart!

Judy and I were friends from Hayhurst, Camp Fire and then we were both in Sigma Kappa together at OSU. We shared a friend Margaret Eckman may her name be for a blessing, both at Markham, Hayhurst, Camp Fire and Sigma Kappa. I've been in Seattle for 16-17 years and didn't know Judy lived in Olympia. I do remember her beautiful voice, great smile and wonderful energy. The picture on this site is a beautiful one of Judy and so Judy. I hadn't seen her for at least 30 years or more and she looked the same as I last saw her. May G-d bless and keep you lovingly in the heavens.

Judy left us way too soon. I had the pleasure of singing with and knowing Judy in our high school years. We reunited with the help of our beloved high school choir director, Merle Lotz. Song and harmony continued with Judy on her journey . Her bright smile, song, and spirit has been an inspiration. Live and blessings to her friends and family.

So sad to read the news about Judy. I used to babysit you, Susan and Bill on Loop Drive. My hugs to them and I'm so sorry. My Mom, Natalie Allan, also sends her sympathy. Your picture is beautiful.....I wish I could hear you sing.

Judy it isn't fair that you have left us so soon. Ken still has that guitar you helped me pick out years ago. Everytime he plays it I think of you & how much fun we had shopping for it. Now I will think of you singing with him. You will be greatly missed, but I know you are at peace.

Love you Judy - I bet you are enjoying the finest vintage with my mom right now! You will always be an aunt to me and I know you are watching over all the kiddos from your perch in Heaven. I love the quote Billy shared - I can hear your song already (although I hope my mom is dancing with you rather than singing....). xoxo forever in our hearts
