Obituary of Ellice Verner Bleak

Ellice was born on March 3, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. During her life, she travelled the world, spoken seven languages, and devoted her energy to humanitarian and ecological causes. She was an artist and an author with bachelor degrees in Art and English from Adams State College. Ellice had a passion and flair for cooking organic, international cuisine. She spent most of her life in California, moving to Arco, ID in 1982, where she met and fell in love with Chuck Bleak. They were married on June 1, 1990 in Idaho Falls. Chuck and Ellice have lived in Idaho, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, where Ellice flourished as an avid rock and stamp collector who loved both the ocean and the desert. Ellice passed away on December 1, 2010 in Boston Harbor, outside Olympia, Washington. To honor her memory, please light a candle for her.
