Obituary of Robert Blanchard

On December 12, 2006, Bob Blanchard at age 62 peacefully went to be with the Lord. Bob was born April 25th 1944, in San Francisco, CA. At age 17 he joined the United States Navy and served for 4 years in Vietnam. In March of 1969 he met and later married the love of his life, Marilyn. They enjoyed 38 years together. He owned and operated Bob’s Auto Electric for 25 years in Olympia. Bob loved being outdoors and he enjoyed reading, and studying history. He spent his life surrounded by the love and commitment of friends and family. He found fulfillment serving the Lord in his local church Gospel Outreach. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, five of his seven children, Julia, Jude, Jennifer, Joanna, and Suzannah, and his mother, Audrey Magil. Three of his five surviving children and his wife are continuing to serve in Gospel Outreach as he did for 34 years.
