Obituary of Richard Lee Birnbaum

Richard Lee Birnbaum Rich was born May 5, 1938 in Chicago, IL. He passed away Nov. 30, 2010. He joined the Army out of high school and spent his whole tour of duty overseas. He was a welder by trade and owned Rich’s Welding on Hwy 508 for many years. He will be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone at any time. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert, his sister Faith, and nephew Ryan. Rich is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gloria; his children, whom he loved very much, Chris Birnbaum, Vincent and Sherry Powell; his grandson Frank Powell; his brother Louis Kartora and wife Julie; and several nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be given to the Lewis County Adventist School building fund.
