Obituary of Mary Bingle

Mary Ann Jacobs Bingle Mary Ann was a woman of creativity, starting with the creation of her family with her husband of 52 yrs, Edmund Joseph Bingle III. They had six children: Richard (deceased) & wife Terri, Joanne Koenig & husband Mark, Barbara, Edmund Joseph IV, Michael & wife Bonnie, & Matthew & wife Kathy. In addition, her 8 grandchildren Marcia Koenig and husband Greg Oldson, Kristina Koeing, Renee Koenig, Jed Bingle, Zachary Bingle and partner Holly, Robbie Bingle, Colby Bingle, Jesse Bingle, and 3 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bingle, Zoe Bingle,and Ava Lynn and a great granddaughter on the way due in november will forever remember her sweet disposition, enduring patience, gentle encouragement and ooiey, gooey cookies. Mary grew up in Springfield, Missouri and moved to Washington in 1949 where she met and married Edmund Joseph Bingle,III. The family moved to Long Island, New York in 1953 and then to Salt Lake City in 1956 where Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degee in Art at the University of Utah and specialized in portrait paintings. In 1983 they moved to Coquille, Oregon. Her Husband Edmund preceded her in death. In 2001 Mary moved to Vancouver, Washington to be closer to her family. In 2003 she moved to Highgate Senior Living in Vancouver, Washington where she resided until moving to Olympia in 2010. She left behind numerous oils & pastels as well as inventive sweaters. She also liked to sew and tolerated the numerous camping trips we went on annually. Mary was born in Springfield, Missouri, Nov. 24th 1924, and passed on to further creative canvases on Sept. 30th, 2010 in Olympia, Washington. In a Celebration of Life Mary's family will be comforted by the warmth of her sweaters. The family will be displaying some of her paintings and art. And honoring her by wearing one of her special sweaters. We encourage you to join us by wearing one of you favorite knitted items
