Obituary of William Beatty

William “Bill” Beatty William Beatty , 84, a 28 year resident of Yelm, passed away at home on October 10, 2009. He was born November 22, 1924 in Easton, PA to Stuart and Martha Beatty. Bill received his BA degree from Lehigh Valley University in PA in 1950. He served in the US Army from February 1941 to October 1950 serving in the European Theater during WWII. He later became an Auto Body Repairman and worked at that profession for 40 years. During his free time from work, Bill enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends. Surviving Bill are his wife Janice; four daughters, Joan (Jerry) Gerhart, Linda (Bob) Thomas, Deborah ( Ross) Gibbs, and Teresa Beatty; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grand children; and sisters Rachel Stoneback of N.C., and Ethel Beatty of Nazareth, PA.
