Obituary of Ronald Lee Graber

Ronald Lee “Rudy” Graber, 63, of Chehalis, Wash., passed away February 2, 2017, of natural causes. He was born in Yankton, S.D., to Kermit and Alice Graber. In 1959, the family moved to Chehalis, Wash. After high school, Rudy enlisted in the United States Army and was discharged due to medical conditions. Rudy began his career in the jewelry business at Allen’s Jewelry in the Yard Bird Shopping Center and also worked at Hudson Goodman, Kay Jewelers, Harry Richie’s Jewelers and Lee Read Jewelers, ending his career at Harry Richie’s in the Tri-Cities, where he achieved the one million dollar sales award. His success in business was due to his inherit ability to make friends, a friend to all and a stranger to nobody. He will be remembered for his humorous and carefree demeanor and goodness of heart. Rudy was preceded in death by his father, Kermit in 1994; and mother, Alice in 2004. He is and will always be dearly missed by his brother, Mike (Kaye) of Spanaway, Wash., brother, Darcy (Sacia) of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., sister, Roxanne (Bob) Goehner of Meridian, Idaho and brother, Lyndell (Vickie) of Chehalis, Wash.; 12 nieces and nephews; and 28 great-nieces and nephews.
