Obituary of Ralph Baller

None Ralph Eugene Baller 84 died peacefully at his home in Lacey, WA, on January 21, 2012. Ralph and his wife, Arlene, were former residents of Lincoln City, Oregon. He was born in Silverton, Oregon, and was proud of his pioneer status as a lifelong resident of Oregon until his move to Lacey in 2005 with Arlene. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Ralph was a longtime volunteer fireman with Taft Nelscott and Delake (TND) Fire Department and eventually achieved the rank of Chief. He was also a charter member of Oceanlake Elks 1886 and served as Exaulted Ruler in 1968. Ralph loved hunting, fishing, camping, and telling tall tales. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the hole-in-one club in California. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Arlene, his 5 children, Dawn Moore (Jim), Kim Baller (Jessie Isaac), Dorrie Carr (Harold), Karen Clegg (Bob), and Cassie Negra (Rick Gedrose), 12 grandchildren,Eric Baller, Shelly Thomas, Jerry Gorum,Sonya Stallings, Michelle Calkins, Heather Mitchell, Nathan Chang, Amanda Montgomery, Shannon Clegg, Tyler Chang, Stephanie Negra, Sam Clegg,and 9 great-grandchildren Emma Hall, Eric A. Baller, Jaxon Gorum, Talen Bailey Vanessa Baller Maddox Gorum,Taylor Bailey, Summer Coleman, Naomi Montgomery. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences in the guestbook below.
