Obituary of Dianna Jean Babbitt

Dianna Jean Babbitt Dianna passed away in her sleep on Friday, July 29, 2011, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dianna was 63 years old when she left us to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Centralia, Washington, in 1948 to Joseph and Dorothy Edwards, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Michael Babbitt; son, Brian Ritter; daughter, Stephanne Ritter; stepson, Mark Babbitt; stepdaughter, Melody Benton; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Joanna Watson and Debbra Gadd; four brothers, Forrest Edwards, Joseph Edwards, Donald Edwards and Blaine Edwards; four nieces; and nine nephews. Dianna most recently lived in the Olympia area. She grew up and lived in the Tenino area most of her life. Dianna was a graduate of Tenino High School. For more than 25 years, she owned and operated a beauty salon in Tenino called the “Hair Stop.” Also, she and her husband, Mike, owned and operated three antique malls over the years. Dianna enjoyed looking for antiques and special items to sell and to decorate her home. She and Mike loved to travel in their 5th Wheel, relaxing and looking for antiques, and also flying to beautiful resorts. Dianna also had a passion for flowers and decorating her yard.
