Obituary of Duane Arquette

Duane Howard Arquette Duane H. Arquette, age 60, of Olympia, WA passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his home. Born on August 13, 1951 in Massena, New York, he was the son of Howard J. and Eileen B. (MacNaughton) Arquette. After graduating from Massena High School in 1969, Duane joined the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. In 1972 he left the military with a Bronze Star. After the military he worked as a heavy construction operator until his health deteriorated in 2011. He loved to putter around but was happiest when he was spending time with his grandkids, Bobby, Tristan, Hannah and Rachel. Especially when he took them fishing. Those who knew him, knew him to be a loving and compassionate husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to many and touched many lives and always enjoyed a good story. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Cunningham), three sons; Tom Spears, Ron Anderson and Shawn Anderson, three daughters; Kim Spears, Malinda Horlick and Taysha Spears, three brothers; Eugene, Michael and Lynden, two sisters; Virginia and Madelyn, and of course, those grandkids; Bobby, Tristan, Hannah and Rachel. Services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
