Obituary of Qais Anwar

Viewing will be prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Qais “Mitch” Anwar Mitch passed away October 12, 2011 in Olympia, Washington, at age 21. He was a bright light that went out too soon. Born February 2, 1990 to Adnan and Mary Anwar in Olympia, he graduated from Olympia High School with the class of 2008. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and spent a year in Iraq. He achieved the rank of Sergeant. Mitch lived life to the fullest. He was an avid writer and enjoyed helping the youth pastor of Light and Life Bible Fellowship of Olympia. He is survived by his mother, Mary; sister, Sarah Anwar; and grandmother, Kathryn Andringa. He was preceded in death by his father, Adnan (3-25-2010).
