Obituary of Beverly Anderson

Beverly "Karen" Anderson Karen passed away on July 29, 2007 in Seattle, WA after a stroke. She was born on January 10, 1958 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Bob and Ann Cook. Karen is survived by her loving husband, Alan, and her children: Jennifer; Cuyler (Rachel); Tracy (William Cloonan), and Austin. She loved her two grandchildren, Audrey and Madeline. She is also survived by her parents Bob and Ann Cook, her grandmother Opal (Memaw) Knapp, sisters Cindy and Tami, and brothers, Bobby and Charles. She was loved by all who knew her. She was married to her best friend, Alan, on August 12, 1978 in Oregon. In the course of rearing their children, they pursued a rewarding career together helping at-risk children in Texas, Alaska and California. The Andersons moved to Lacey, WA in 2001 to be near to their long-time best friends, Conney and David Snyder. They quickly became involved in the local Olympia Moose Family Center, where they cultivated many enduring friendships. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed. Services will be held at the Olympia Moose Family Center in Lacey, WA on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Donations or flowers may be sent to the Olympia Family Moose Center.
