Obituary of Steven John Wengelewski

Steven passed away from a motorcycle accident on Nov. 8, 2013 in Columbus, GA. He was born on June 24, 1973 in Fairbanks, AK. Steven served in the U.S. Navy from 2001 to 2004 and transferred to the U.S. Army from 2004 to the present. He was a highly decorated soldier, with six tours to Iraq/Afghanistan. He was married to Sonia Hambrick on August 2, 2009. Steven loved motorcycles, family, and friends. He was a very strong, loving, loyal, bold, courageous, and honorable man. He is survived by his wife, Sonia Wengelewski; nine children, Brandi Robinson, Randy O’Neal, Cody Anderson, Kaitlynn Wengelewski, Steven Wengelewski III, Bethany Wengelewski, Kristi O’Neal, Isaac Wengelewski, and Mariah Wengelewski; two grandchildren, Carson Anderson and Brayden Robinson; parents, Steven and Norma Wengelewski Sr., and Deborah Penker, Raymond Reynolds; mother-in-law, Darlene Hambrick; brothers, Eric Wengelewski and Rory Penker; sisters; Makala Wengelewski, Desiree Penker, and Holly Velez-Moore.
