It is the end of an era at the Market without our Yuki…. scuffling walk in her boots as she made the rounds before setting up. Her rock ‘n rolling car filling the market with Yukiness. Her gags, generosity and humor. Her year end oyster painted Santa she passed out for everyone. She translated Japaneses on my “Asian Delight” Cards when one year everyone wanted to know what was being said. I gave her lots of yarn to lighten my load and she gifted me with bags of clean mussel shells for wreaths I’d been making for years. She’ll con’t to shine on in our hearts…. Blessings and love to all who are missing her.

I loved her so much in the two years that she was in my life. She attempted to teach me some knitting techniques and tho I was a tough student, the value she added to my life will stay with me forever. I fell in love with Olympia because of Yukie and the Farmer’s Market. THANK YOU, Yukie…you are a dear soul and will be sorely missed.

I’m so sad to hear Yuki is gone. She helped me finish a sweater in February and was a great knitting mentor. I enjoyed her so much. I always thought Yuki was living the dream there in her knitting booth at the farmers market. This is very sad news, so unexpected.

Yukie will be missed by so many who loved her dearly. She brought so much laughter and joy to my life, and my children ❤️ She was so generous and kind every day, and went out of her way to help others❤️ I have so many wonderful memories that I will hold close to my heart always ❤️
I will hold constant one very special memory of Yukie, and that is her days of driving through the market with blasting her rock music!
I love you dear friend, and I miss you❤️

I could always count on seeing Yuki’s brilliant smile at the market, even on soggy days when business was slow. She became the epitome if the Olympia Farmers Market, the constant that I looked forward to seeing during my visits home. I will miss her. Best wishes to her family from Texas.

Dearest Yukie, your humor, and kindness toward everything living was a spark that will not be dimmed by your moving on to the other realm. Just because we don’t get to have you around us, doesn’t mean you are not still shining the way you have always done. I will be looking for you. Smiling Yukie

I miss you Yukie! Every day I’d say “I’m hungry.” You’d say “eat your banana.” I’d get out my banana and we’d holler “Banana” like the Minions. In so many ways you enriched my life and still do. I will treasure our time together forever.

Yukie you were the most caring and giver. We all miss your laughter, your smile. Surely hearing the songs of AC/DC pounding bass coming out your vehicle. The market won’t be the same. We will always remember you in our heats. Have fun up in Heaven. Love, Kathi and Phil Ambrosino
