The Swift family has always been a tremendous blessing to me and my family. It seems as if the Swifts and the Robischons are one huge family. I love you all and my heart aches for you. Doug was a shining example of the Swift family legacy of love and compassion. He was a man of strength, integrity and fortitude and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
I pray that the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus our Lord. I also pray that the Sprirt of God and the love of your family and friends will sustain you.

My deepest condolences to Debbie and everyone in the family. I am a counselor at SPSCC and worked with Doug closely and always valued his insight and thoughtful care when working with students. He was friendly, funny and kind. I miss his presence on campus. I could always rely on Doug and trusted his assessment of situations with students. My prayers and good wishes to the family to get through this tough time.

I first met Doug when he was about 8 years old. He was always very polite, fun and full of positive energy. He spent time, during several summers, with us in Okanogan when he and Kathe would re-bond. He was never disrespectful or negative. Thru the years he grew to be a man with the same wonderful qualities, someone I always looked forward to seeing! His oldest sister, Kathe had fourteen favorite siblings, but he may have been at the top as she always felt like his second mother and she held very special feelings for him. It is very comforting to know they are together now with their father and two brothers. The twinkle in the eye that is a Swift trait is obvious in each of them! I will always remember Doug with the best of memories and feel extremely fortunate to have known and loved him.
