Obituary of JoAnne L. Suelzle

JoAnne passed away peacefully July 30, 2014 in Olympia, Washington, where she was born 78 years earlier on September 25, 1935. Over the years, JoAnne also lived in Seattle and Port Orchard, Washington, and in Alaska and California. She was a 1953 graduate of Olympia High, and married Larry Suelzle on March 26, 1954 in Olympia. JoAnne was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an exceptional homemaker and cherished the time she spent with family and home. She worked in banking while living in Port Orchard, and was a member of F.O.E., Jaycees, and Soroptimist. She is survived by her husband, Larry Suelzle; sons, Steven Suelzle (Nancy) and Michael Suelzle (Kim Collings); daughter, Diana Suelzle-Kelley (Jim); grandchildren, Chris, Joanna, Matt and Derek; sisters, Betty Jo Pflaster and Barbara Chilton. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Kenneth Crout. In lieu of flowers, donations in JoAnne’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
