I took care of Marion’s eyes for years at PCLI. It always brightened my day knowing that he was on my schedule. He gave me a trivet with a beautiful wood frame and a tile inset and I will think about him when I use it. I had the opportunity to visit his shop once and I was extremely impressed with the thought he put into the setup. It was a masterpiece.
Marion was simply just a great human being and we are all diminished by his loss.

Memories of the Thanksgiving dinners & desserts, the turkey, the gravy, & conversation. Robin enjoyed the stories about the youthful adventures of Bob and your dad…Of course the storm one Thanksgiving watching the lights going out in the valley. He will be greatly missed by everyone–Rest in peace, Uncle Marion..Maretta & Marilyn, I’m so sorry for your loss of a great treasure…Love, Nancy

I was so sorry to hear of Marion’s death. I think I will always remember his voice as he told one of his many stories, and his laugh at the end. He was a great talker. The trick at Central Reddi Mix was that if you were in your pickup and Marion was talking to you through the window, if you drove slowly enough you could get him all the way out to the road if he needed to finish his story. My love to all of the family and thanks for sharing “Smokey” with all of us.

We will be missing Uncle Marion. So glad we own a few of his treasured woodwork pieces. Didn’t know about the Adak connection. I (Sharon) lived there as a kid in the early 60″s. Would have loved talking to him about that. Keeping you all close to our hearts. Sharon & Steve Allen

Marion was a good man and so sorry to see him leave us. He was extremely intelligent and had a memory that wouldn’t quit! He was a good friend to my husband, Cub. He will be missed by many.

Maretta, A little note to say my heart is filled with sorrow for your loss. Yes, his cookies were great! I especially loved his visits to WOC, Marion always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. With lots of prayers, Lanna and Family
