I’m so sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. I have known him at least as far back as the Washington State Centennial Wagon Train in 1989, when Lola asked if I wanted to go along, and I walked alongside their wagon for part of the way in the Centralia area. Cherished memories! Love and prayers to Lola and and both their families. Vickie Scott and husband, Paul Schulz

Wonderful memories of playing with my four cousins on Uncle Clarence’s farm! Love my kin people in Washington State. Such loving kind people. All mother’s brothers were such strong men. Wish I could be with you at this time and share old memories, the good times. Know I do love each one of you, maybe we can see each other again while we are still on this earth. Dixie Cantkon

Clarence will be missed. He was a fine man, devoted husband, father, family man , friend and horseman. We had so much fun with the covered wagons and horses throughout the years. Mother misses him so much. So sad.

I am sorry to hear that Clarence has passed on. I never met him personally. I have been driving past his place since 1994. He would go past my place with the wagon and team and wave. Or he would be in the garden or up by the barn messing with the horses. I am a nurse in Tacoma and I took care of a guy ( forgot his name) who learned all about teams, and pulling wagons from Clarence. He told me all about him and how much he respected him and all his knowledge. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lola and his family. Tracy Anderson
