Obituary of Earl Edward Scott

“Spirit Wolf” Wayne and Lynda Scott were blessed with a baby boy April 29, 1971. He was born in Olympia, Washington and died October 13, 2013 in McKenna, Washington. When he was 6 months old they moved to Eastern Washington and moved back to Olympia when he was 6 years old. Scotty attended Olympia Schools and got his GED when he joined Jobs Corps. He spent several months cooking on a fishing tender in the Bering Sea. He cooked for many years in local restaurants until he found the job he loved. He worked as a flagger for ACI Constructions. He said he worked with the great crew, especially Elsie. Scotty loved animals. He had a yellow lab named Rowdy and a cat named Sweet pea. We were sorry to say we lost both Rowdy and Sweet pea when we lost Scotty. Scotty was very spiritual and in touch with the Native American part of his Heritage. He played the Indian Flute, attended sweat lodges and Pow Wows. He also enjoyed fishing and claim digging. He never married but the love of his life was a wonderful woman named Andrea Baldwin. She died 4 years ago on Christmas Eve and he has never recovered from her death. Scott is survived by his parents Wayne and Lynda Scott of Yelm, a brother Paul Lee Haller of Olympia and Sister Lynda Jo Anderson and her husband Wayne and Sister Kay Sue Severson and husband Sherman.
