I was a 7th grader when my family moved to a house on Herman Rd., which was kitty-wompass to the Rossow’s. I became friends with the neighborhood kids, Bud Rossow, Dian Olson, Todd Peterson…What I remember most was Roy & Pat and wishing that they were my parents. My parents were “okay”, lol but Bud’s were better(lol)…they were so nice, welcoming and Roy used to give me a tease or two about my height. It puts a smile on my face to think back to those days and them.

Roy was a great guy…a wonderful husband to my cousin Patricia, and a great dad to Bud, Sis, and Deb, and a fantastic grandfather. He always had a smile on his face and loved to tease. I was always so impressed as he was so mechanical could make or repair anything..including sewing! He will be missed by all that knew him.

I am so sorry to hear about Roy, my deepest sympathy goes out to his family. He is happier now that he is with Pat and Ray and Shirley and they are all having a good reunion,. He was a super man and a great friend to my families;
