Obituary of Billy M. Rhyan

Billy, a 15 + year resident of Tenino, Washington, passed away July 30, 2013 in Olympia, at St. Peter Hospital at the age 82. He was born June 1, 1931 to Harry Pat and Addie Mae (Helton) Rhyan in Dallas, Texas. Billy lived a full life. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard, achieving the rank of Colonel. Professionally, he was a real estate broker. He enjoyed baseball, football (Dallas Cowboys are #1), and socializing with friends. He was Exalted Ruler of the Elks in Lakewood as well as a member or the Tacoma Elks, and a member of the Tenino VFW and Tenino Eagles. Billy is survived by his son, Billy Mack Rhyan; daughters, Laurie Gayle Rhyan and Kimberly Gale Nichols; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and ex-wife, Betty J. Rhyan Mojeck. He was predeceased by his parents, and sister, Pat Rose. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
