Donna has been a good friend since we met, when her son Mark and our daughter Lisa started kindergarten at Lydia Hawk Elementary (they just turned 40!). We went jogging together every morning after our kids left for school for several years! After we both went to work for the State, we managed to get several visits in each year including Christmas and birthdays. We always kept up with what was happening with each others families, children and grandchildren. We even worked together at the Lottery for a few years. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She also was a marvelous cook! I have several recipes that I make all the time that I got from Donna. I will miss her immensely and I know her family will as well! She always had a smile and a kind word. When she got sick she had such a positive attitude. I am glad she is at peace and out of pain. Our last words to each other were “Love you”. Love and miss you Donna! Sharon and Mike

Donna was my “Aunt Donna” She was one who did put others before herself. I love her and will truly miss her and our long talks on the phone. She was an asset to the Myer Family and a beautiful lady on the inside and outside. She will be missed by all. The following is from a lady that writes lots of poems I thought this would be a nice one…….. I changed one or two lines.
Let Go and Let God (dedicated to my aunt who just recently passed away) Here’s to you
(AUNT DONNA)
Auntie,
You have suffered auntie long enough,
You were brave strong and tough.
The battle you fought was long and hard,
But it’s okay auntie let go and let God.
It has hurt all of us when you left that day,
It left me broken hearted with nothing to say.
I don’t want to be selfish say please don’t leave,
Because I did not want to hurt or grieve.
I know in my heart you are in a better place,
But I swear I am going to miss your beautiful face.
I am going to miss the talks we would have,
And the stories I would tell that would make you laugh.
God just needed you to come home,
Yes we know it has made your family sore.
You will always be remembered every single day,
From the smile on your face to the things you would say.
You have taken your space in heaven right where you belong,
Right up there with Grandpa, Grandma, my Moe, and my mom.
Yes we all know that we need to be strong,
But through our family your memory will live on.
You don’t need to fight anymore just let go and let God,
While you were here on earth you did your job.
You did your part to keep family together,
that’s why you will remain in our hearts always and forever.
(Miss Remy wrote this)
Aunt Donna- no mater who you are and know her will remain in your hearts forever that was the type of person she was…. Rest in Peace Annie. Love Tracy and Jim

Donna and I worked together for years and years. She was truly one of the nicest people I’ve had the honor to know. Her family was her greatest source of love and pride. She was a beautiful woman and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Donna has been our good friend and next door neighbor since we moved here from New Jersey and purchased the house in 2004. She was our source of information on he area and shared our love of theater and travel. A frequent visitor who always had time to sit and talk, sharing her experience and hopes as well has her great love for her family. Devoted to her mother and caring for her as only a loving daughter could with out complaint. Always willing to share. May she rest in peace and may her family always feel blessed for having known her. The loss will start to fade and then spring to mind at most unexpected times. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. “Ginnie” & “Bear”
