Dear Kristi and family,
I was saddened to read that you lost your beloved dad recently. (We’ve been out of town.) My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I still have fond memories of my trip to Port Angeles in about 1968 to visit you and your parents at Crescent Lake. We had such a great time. Your dad was an amazing man.
With sincere sympathy,
Thelma Lind Mosebar

Wil was my instructor at pc from 1976-1978. What a gentleman, friend to all and excellent teacher. We stayed in contact throughout my career in the Port Angeles area, reminding me of a shepherd keeping track of his flock. One time in particular, we were reading out of a textbook and he said now to close our books, “And now I’m going to tell you how it really works.” I can’t tell you how many times I’ve quoted him and his broadness of knowledge comparing theory to the real world. What a treasure to be learning from this man. We lost contact after Wil and Julia moved, but never forgotten. I sincere condolences to Julia and her family, he will be missed by many.

Dear Julia and family,
Thinking of you in the loss of Will. Growing up in Port Angeles I remember Will when he would visit my parents, Lloyd and Estella Morrish Mc Glenn and my Grandmother, Ruth Morrish Acorn. He was always fun and had such a wonderful smile. I send you my best wishes as you move forward.

Willie was a fine colleague and fellow gym rat at Peninsula College. He gave me any number of hip checks when I tried to drive around him in pickup basketball. He also had a fairly accurate running bank shot. As our friend John Willits observed, “Willie Morrish was deceptively slow.” He was well liked and well regarded by his peers, and as well, I believe, by his students. He served a term as faculty association president.

Dearest Julia, How fondly I remember both you and Will. George taught with Will at Peninsula College and had such great respect for him. His beautiful smile, great attitude and charm are such dear memories to me. i can hear his laugh now, and his ready wit was such fun! He was a grand guy and I know how much he will be missed by all of you… and fondly remembered by so many of his students and colleagues from Peninsula College. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I attended Peninsula College back in the beginning of the 70’s. I took Business Administration from Professor Morrish. One of the first things he told us was that we were adults now and we were responsible to be in class and make sure our work was done and turned in. He wasn’t there to babysit us. Occasionally I would skip class and play Pinochle in the Pub. We would sit in the far SE corner so if anyone came in the front door, we weren’t easy to see. More than once, Mr. Morrish, having already seen me on campus, would leave our class, come to the Pub, stand at the upper floor overlook, and bellow, “Elbrader, I know you’re in here. get to class.” LOL He has always been a fond memory of my college days and I am proud to say I sat under his tutelage. He was a caring, funny man who had a passion to see his students find their life career and live life to it’s fullest. I am so sorry for your loss and will always remember Mr. Morrish as one of my favorite teachers and man who truly cared for each and every one of his students. Prayers are with all who loved him.
