Obituary of Deborah Kay Liss

Born May 13, 1957 to Paul and Virginia Zemanek in Tacoma, WA, Deborah Kay Liss passed away August 28, 2014, in Olympia, WA, at age 57. She was a 1975 graduate of Tacoma’s Lincoln High School and, on July 6, 1979, she married Earl Richard Liss at Marine View Presbyterian in Tacoma. Deborah had the gift of conversation and laughter, even at her own expense. She was a hostess at Bon Marche Tacoma Mall (1980-1986), Olympia school bus driver (1992-1998), jewelry sales at Capital Mall (2000-2005), and always a homemaker. She enjoyed camping and fishing, reading a good book, bingo and antiquing. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian in Tacoma, and a Friend of Bill W’s. She is survived by husband, Earl R. Liss; daughter, Kendra J. Liss; brothers, John Peterson, Darren Zemanek, Dan Zemanek and David Zemanek; sister, Terri Peterson; and mother, Karen Zemanek. Her birth parents predeceased her.
