To the Koch family,
I just found this site. I am crying as I am typing this. I was a patient of Dr. Koch’s for 2 and 1/2 years. for prolotherapy. He was a one-of-a-kind doctor — a pioneer in ligament strengthening shot treatments with his own exercise stretching program along with them. My lower back was strengthened over a period of time, and I no longer have pain. At first meeting, he was very imposing, as he almost kicked me out of the office because I wanted to explain when he asked me his introductory questions rather than following his instructions by saying “yes” or “no”. But, he put up with me for almost 3 years. I could write a book, but I will simply say that Dr. Koch became a trusted professional and friend. He had a heart of gold. He cared so much about people, especially young people. It didn’t surprise me when he told me he had considered going to China as a medical missionary in his early years. It was ALWAYS obvious that his wife was the love of his life. I am sorry for your loss. I am so grateful to have known Dr. Koch. Sincerely, Susan Leckenby

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Dr. Koch since meeting him in 1976 at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was one of the most caring and dedicated osteopathic physicians to practice medicine! He and his wife Traudi made a fantastic couple and certainly enjoyed their many years together! My wife Gloria and I had the pleasure of spending many wonderful adventures with them in exotic places. We will miss Dr. Koch dearly, but are ever grateful for the many years and wonderful times spent together! Anyone who knew Dr. Koch will agree – he touched many a sole! God bless you Dr. Koch – we loved you!!
