To My Cousin John and Dear Children, My heart goes out to each one of you during this difficult time of loss of your precious Kerri. May God comfort you all in knowing how much her love will stay in your hearts, and how much you blessed her life and continue to do so through her incredible talented voice and the messages in her songs. Kerri will always be remembered by her love for her family and friends. I wish I had the chance to meet her and feel like I have through my cousin John. I just pray for all her dear children that God will give you strength, peace, comfort and your Mom’s love to continue your journey in life knowing Jesus.
May you feel the love and virtual hugs today.

Dear Children of Kerri,
We are so sorry for your loss of your mother. We remember her faithfulness and tenacity in bringing you to Sunday school, church, soul-winning Saturdays, and all the many church events and activities by herself back in the days when your step-dad was deployed. You may not remember us unless you remember Mr. Funchion slipping you those Mentos just before church that he always carried in his pocket and the time when he came to your home in Yelm to bury your pet dog that had just died. Or you may remember when both Mr. Funchion and I came out to your house because of a plumbing problem. He had to remove the toilet from the floor to find that the problem was a little matchbox car that one of you little rascals flushed down the toilet!! We have some fond memories of you children who are now young adults. We pray that the Lord will comfort you today and in the many days ahead. May you honor your mother by living the godly lives that she desired for you as we know she loved each of you so very much.
With sympathy,
Mr. and Mrs. Funchion

The last time I saw Karri my cousin; I was staying a night with her before she was married to John Granville. She was up late talking to him on the phone. When we were kids I looked forward to having time with my cousins at our grandparents home in Okanogan.

I was so saddened to hear of Kerri’s passing. She was a gifted singer and songwriter; her songs made me cry. We had never met in person, but we talked on the phone, and she said if we didn’t meet on this earth, we would meet in heaven. I’ll be looking forward to that!

We have so many good memories of your family. The time your girls cooked dinner for us and the walk we took back in the woods by Puget Sound. Having all the children in our classes at Olympia Bible Baptist Church, way back in the beginning of the church ( in the grange; then in the school). Making cheerleading outfits for the girls, Momma’s singing and then all the children singing with her. We don’t know how God is working in this but HE makes NO mistakes, We just trust that God’s Grace is sufficient for each of you to go on serving Him. God is Good

Prayers to the Granville and Capps Family. Kerri was an amazing person. One of the most Godly women I have had the pleasure of knowing! God use Kerri as a vessel to lead me to Him and I cannot be more grateful for that! My family and I will remember Kerri as a someone that always made us feel special and comfortable, she just had that way about her. She had a very kind heart and knew just what to say when I needed to hear it! She loved her children immensely, you could see it when she looked at each one of them. I have many memories that I will treasure because of Kerri and I am thankful for the time we had with her! Kerri will be missed by so many but will never be forgotten.

My dear friend,
What a blessing your life has been. So many lives have been touched by your godly spirit. You always had such a determination to do what God wanted you to do for you and your family. I loved our deep theological conversations. You always thought deep. You are going to missed, but I know that you always wanted to see your Jesus. For the family, Pastor and I love you and are praying for you continually. Although we can’t understand God’s timing, His will is always for our good. God bless all of you during this time of sorrow.
Cynthia
