Obituary of August G. Fromuth

August G. Fromuth Jr. passed away peacefully March 15, 2014 in Olympia, Washington, at the age of 91. He was born on January 21, 1923 to August and Elva Fromuth of Philadelphia. August Jr. was an Army pilot in World War II, and graduated from Lehigh University. On December 30, 1950, he married Jeanne Harriet Morrow, his beloved wife and companion of 64 years with whom he raised four sons. While a successful entrepreneur, the true avocation of his head and heart was social justice. August nourished his family with his love, his wise counsel and over half a century of laughter. He is survived by his wife and sons, August III of Manchester, New Hampshire, Peter of Bethesda, Maryland, Mark of Portland, Oregon, and Christian of Olympia, Washington.
