Obituary of Vickie Louise Collier-Guzman

Vickie Louise Collier-Guzman, 57, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Vickie passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side. She had been preceded in death by her mother, Dana “Monique” Towneson; and an infant child, Iesha. She is survived by her husband, Max; daughters, Carmella and Shayla; son Zacharias; grandchildren, Heavyn, Gavin, Jaiden, Donovan; step-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Meriah, and Izaiah; a special “adopted” granddaughter, Christine; and siblings, Joseph, Cyrus, Tina and Carol. There are also a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a favorite aunt with whom Vickie shared a special bond, her Aunt Sandi. Vickie was a passionate, fiercely loyal, and generous soul. Her death has left a great void in the hearts of all who knew her. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Despite the efforts of Vickie, the doctors, and hospital staff, in the end, she succumbed to the ravages of the cancer. Her death will be mourned by friends and family alike.
