Obituary of N. Gene Fisher

Born August 5, 1943 to the late Mr. Jack J. Fisher and the late Mrs. Roberta L. Bell in Wichita, Kansas, Norvel Gene Fisher unexpectedly passed away July 21, 2014 in Lacey, Washington at age 70. He always enjoyed talking about his 22 years serving in the U.S. Army, especially periods of time spent in Vietnam, during which time he acquired his mechanical engineering experience. Gene was happy retired as a paralegal from the State of Washington, and enjoyed his retirement with reading, traveling, playing with nieces and nephews, and making jokes. He is survived by his wife, Hoa Le Fisher; stepbrothers, Larry Hayes in Wichita and Billy Hayes in Massachusetts, and their families; daughter, Tamara Fisher in St. Louis, Missouri; son, Larry Fisher (Catherine) in Texas; grandchildren, Adrain, Alelxandra, Asya, and Nicholas Fisher; and great grandchild, Parker. He was predeceased by his parents; stepmother, Mary Fisher; and sister, Sondra Wright. Donations in Gene’s name may be made to the Washington State American Legion.
