Obituary of A. Paull Collins

Paull passed away March 26, 2014, in Shelton, Washington, at the age of 80. He was born to Henrietta and Charles Collins on June 7, 1933 in Tacoma, Washington. He was the youngest of six brothers. Paull graduated from Olympia High School and, over the years, lived in various Western Washington cities, including Olympia (2003-2014), Vancouver (1978-2003), and South Bend (1973-1978). He made friends wherever he lived; neighbors all have good memories of him. Professionally, Paull drove a paint striper truck, a job from which he retired in 1995. He also owned Richfield Gas Station in Tumwater in the early 1960s, and worked at St. Regis Plywood. Paull loved gardening, deep sea fishing, dancing, watching the Mariners, and taking an occasional jaunt to the casino. He is survived by sons, Paull Jr., Kelvin, Dennis and Byron; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and all of his older brothers.
