Obituary of Glen H. Miller

Glen H. Miller passed away after declining health on February 24, 2024, in Tumwater, Washington, his home of 50 years.  He was born August 12, 1932, to Raymond N. and Helen B. (Hess) Miller in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

 

Glen earned a BS from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania (1954), an MBA from Warton University of Pennsylvania (1960), followed by graduate studies (1960-1962).  He served in the U.S. Army in the Security Agency, stationed in Germany (1954-1957).

 

In 1974, he married Leslye Slaughter in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Professionally, Glen was employed by four companies in New York City, New York.  One of them was Colgate-Palmolive where he was sent to work in South Africa (1954-1957).

 

Glen loved biking, backgammon, stock trading, opera and hanging out at coffee shops with his buddies.

 

He is survived by his wife, Leslye Miller; two grandchildren; and brother, Ray Miller.  He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Karen Miller; and brother, Mark Miller.
