Obituary of Donald Curtis Strong

Donald Curtis Strong passed away on February 3, 2024, in Aberdeen, Washington.  He was born on October 9, 1946, to Curt and Cora Strong of Olympia, Washington, and attended North Thurston High School.

Don loved his pets, fishing, clam digging, classic cars, boating and spending time at Ocean Shores and the Quinault Beach Resort with family and friends.

He was known as the “water and pump guy in town” and owned his own company, Don Strong Pumps.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna; daughters, Janey Hanson (Bill), Amanda Morales-Strong (Fernando); grandchildren, Jonathan and Sydney; sister, Karin Bennett (Tom); brother in-law, Gerard Lajeunesse; and three nieces, Debbie, Tracy and Emily. Don was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eileen Garrison
