Obituary of Kenneth Leonard Ayres

Kenneth Leonard Ayres passed away January 17, 2024, in Olympia, Washington, due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.  He was born June 7, 1947, to Walter and Shirley Ayres in Seattle, Washington.  The last 15 years, he resided in Shelton, Washington.

 

Ken attended the University of Washington, served in the U.S. Army in Thailand during the Vietnam War, and professionally was an electrician for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He married Annie on May 9, 2017, and loved hiking, music, reading, movies, and video games.

 

He is survived by his wife, Annie Morgan Ayres; son, Michael; daughters, Kendra and Allison; seven grandchildren; and brothers, Bob and Jerry.
