Obituary of Inga Tang Krug

Inga Tang Krug passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 23, 2024, in Olympia, Washington.  She was born April 20, 1933, in Copenhagen, Denmark.  Over the years, she also resided in Orange, California (1965-1967); Terracina, Italy (1967-1070); and Cincinnati, Ohio (1962-1965).

 

She graduated from Junior College/Gymnasium in Denmark and married James A. Krug, MD on December 27, 1960, in Copenhagen. Professionally, she worked as a bookkeeper for Pepsi Cola in Cincinnati (1959-1969), bookkeeper at Mattel Toys in Los Angeles (1963-1967), and owned a Danish gift shop in Olympia (1986-1990).  She loved raising her children, travel and hiking.

 

She is survived by her husband, James A. Krug, MD; son, Richard T. Krug, MD; daughters, Lisa Krug and Julie Krug; brother, Peder Tang; and sisters, Gerda Andersen and Bente Saibaek.  She was predeceased by her parents, Aage Tang and Klara (Tang) Madsen.
