Obituary of Christopher Clyde Boston

Christopher Clyde Boston passed away of a stroke on December 6, 2023, in Olympia, Washington.  He was born November 23, 1961, to Connie and David Boston in Yakima, Washington. Over the years, he also resided in St. Maries, Idaho; Mountain Home, Idaho; Minot, North Dakota; and Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Chris earned a high school GED. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Desert Storm veteran.  Professionally, he worked for the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety and the U.S. Air Force.

 

Chris had a great sense of humor and enjoyed caring for others, those he knew personally and those he simply came in contact with.  His professional life in building safety extended into his daily life; no matter what building he was in, if he noticed they were out of safety compliance, he made sure to inform the management so corrections could be made for everyone’s safety.  He also loved caring for his African Gray Parrot, Bodie.  Additional interests included video games and computer program model-building.

 

He is survived by his son, Jason Boston of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Alicia Boston of Fargo, North Dakota; four grandchildren; father, David Boston of Olympia; and former wife, Rita Nygaard.
