Obituary of Linda Darlene Campbell

Linda Darlene Campbell passed away of cancer on November 8, 2023, in Olympia, Wash. She was born November 16, 1950, to Peter and Stella Paulsen in Chicago, Illinois.  Over the years, she resided in Tenino, Wash. (1981-2019), Riverside, Calif. (1967-1981), and Chicago (1950-1967).

Linda graduated from high school in Riverside, where she was married in 1969. She was independent and caring for those around her.  She had a quick wit and fiercely fought for what she believed in. She volunteered for CFA (Concern for Animals) and was president from 1982 to 1994.  Besides her commitment to animal rescue, she was a prolific reader and loved history, enjoyed horticulture, classical music, politics, PBS shows, and baking and cooking all types of ethnic dishes.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda M. Sanders; grandchildren, Alexandria Sanders, Aidan Sanders and Emily Sanders; brother, Peter Paulsen of Cicero, Illinois; and sister, Diane Paulsen of California. She was predeceased by her parents; and son, Joel D. Campbell.
